Duty Security Manager
Salary: Circa £69k plus extensive benefits package
Shift pattern: 4 on / 4 off: 4 days (0600-1800), 4 off. 4 nights (1800-0600), 4 off.

Location: Canary Wharf, London

• A passionate people manager with a flair for leading and developing teams
• Ideally you will have experience leading large teams (20+)
• A visible leadership style where you thrive delivering a customer focused operation
• A passion for service excellence
• Experience of positively influencing and engaging senior stakeholders and partners
• Happy working a shift pattern of 4 on / 4 off: 4 days (0600-1800), 4 off. 4 nights (1800-0600), 4 off.

Responsibilities will include:

• Managing the operational delivery of a large security team
• Providing first class leadership to the security team across your shift
• Conduct and monitor staff appraisals and encourage further development
• Staff training and development including regular emergency preparedness training
• Incident management and response
• Undertake team briefings
• Assist with the strategic planning of the security function
• Oversee the creation and Implementation of SOPs and assignment instructions
• Management of the security service providers
• Liaison with Police and emergency services
