Event Security Manager
Salary: £50,000 – £55,000 + bonus, extensive benefits package
Location: London
Hours: Monday to Friday

This is a unique opportunity to lead the security planning and preparation for high-profile events. You will have responsibility for several key areas including operational event security planning, developing security policy/plans and conducting risk/threat assessments. You will champion collaborative working with security service providers and positively influence and engage stakeholders. You will offer strategic security advise and ensure robust security measures are in place to support the smooth delivery of high-profile events.

 

 

Applicants should meet the following criteria:

  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills with a proven track record of collaborative working with multiple partners, service providers or agencies
  • Ideally you will have experience within the event security sector. This could include managing operational event security or leading on the planning/administration of event security operations.
  • Strong strategic and tactical planning skills
  • Strong administration skills with the ability to plan and lead complex projects
  • A passion for service excellence
  • Experience of positively influencing and engaging senior stakeholders and partners

 

Responsibilities will include:

  • Lead the security planning and preparation for high-profile events
  • Work closely with event security partners and service providers
  • Resource scheduling for events in collaboration with service partners
  • Help to develop security policies and plans for specific events
  • Assess and mitigate security threats
  • Conduct security briefings
  • Management of 3rd party service providers including regular performance review and KPI meetings
  • Lead on event security special projects
  • Manage and maintain a risk register
  • Provide security advice and guidance to clients and internal stakeholders
  • Ensure robust security measures are in place to support the smooth delivery of high-profile events
  • Conduct risk assessments
  • Oversee the creation and Implementation of any event specific SOPs
  • Liaison with Police and emergency services
  • Incident management and response
  • Cross functional working with the Property and Facilities teams.
  • Budget management
