Security Control Room Manager / GSOC Manager
Salary: £48,900

Location: Slough
Hours: Monday to Friday

 

This is a tremendous opportunity to lead the security function at a Global Security Operations Centre. The role will see you manage a dedicated team of security professionals and oversee the delivery of Global Security Operations Centre services.

 

If you have strong people management skills with experience working in a busy multi-functional control room then we are keen to hear from you.

 

Applicants should meet the following criteria:

  • Proven supervisory or people management experience
  • A good knowledge of control room/control centre best practice
  • The ability to work with stakeholders at all levels
  • The ability to create and implement new processes
  • Strong process management skills

 

Responsibilities:

  • Day to day management of a busy Global Security Operations Centre.
  • People management to a dedicated security and control room team
  • Operation and administration of GSOC systems – CCTV remote monitoring, access control systems, alarm systems etc
  • Oversee the travel security policy
  • Ensure KPI’s and SLA’s are met and exceeded
  • Process management and improvement
  • Incident management and response
  • Carry out investigations
  • Undertake in-depth compliance checks
  • Collation of data and production of in-depth reports
  • Manage and mitigate risk across sites
  • Maintain the technical security systems in the control room
  • Produce regular reports for senior management and clients
  • Conduct 121’s with staff highlighting areas for training and development
