Security Control Room Operator
Shift pattern: 4 days (0700-1900), 4 off, 4 nights (1900-0700), 4 off.
Location: Reading
Rate of pay: £13.18 per hour + overtime opportunities

Would you like to work at a state of the art Control Room in Reading? Working as part of a dedicated team you will be overseeing a range of systems including: CCTV, Access control, remote monitoring and alarm systems.

Applicants must be SIA licensed and have previous experience working in a busy control room environment.

Applicants should meet the following criteria:

• SIA license holder (ideally CCTV but we are flexible if you have strong control room experience)
• Happy to work a 4 on 4 off shift pattern: 4 days (0700-1900), 4 off, 4 nights (1900-0700), 4 off.
• Previous security control room experience is essential

Responsibilities:

• • • • Operation of the control room security systems in a professional manner
      • Monitoring CCTV and remote monitoring systems
      • Operation of access control systems
      • Operation of fire safety systems
      • Responding to emergency situations in a professional manner
      • Liaise with emergency services when required
      • Respond and remain vigilant to threats such as terrorism
      • Produce comprehensive written incident reports
      • Manage crisis situations in a confident and calm manner
      • Monitor and activate access control systems
      • Respond to general queries
