Security Manager (High-profile location)
Salary: £45,000 – £47,900
Location: Central London

Hours: 50 per week


This is a unique opportunity work at one of the capitals most prestigious locations.

We are seeking a dynamic and innovative Security Manager to oversee the delivery of security at a high-profile customer focused location in Central London. This role will see you manage a team of security officers in a fast paced environment as well as shaping the security strategy.

You will be a Security Manager with proven experience leading security teams and managing security strategy relating to counter terrorism planning and emergency response/planning. Experience managing event security operations is also required.



Applicants should meet the following criteria:

  • Experience managing the delivery of operational security at a busy and challenging environment is essential.
  • An experienced people manager with the ability to lead and develop staff
  • Experience leading and managing large teams
  • Experience implementing security strategy relating to counter terrorism, emergency planning/response, threat assessment etc.
  • A passion for service excellence
  • Experience managing event security operations
  • Experience of influencing and engaging senior stakeholders
  • SIA License holder


Key duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Managing the delivery of site security in a busy and high-profile environment.
  • Conduct and monitor staff appraisals and encourage further development
  • Staff training and development across core areas such as counter terrorism response, customer service and effective communication.
  • The planning and implementation of Incident management and response
  • Event security planning and preparation
  • Safeguarding of various assets to include people, buildings and information
  • Assist with the strategic planning of the security function
  • Oversee the delivery of control room operations
  • Cross functional working with the Property and Facilities teams.
  • Undertake risk assessments
  • Liaise with emergency services when required
  • Management of 3rd party suppliers
