Security Officer

Salary: £14 per hour

Shift pattern: Guaranteed 40 hours per week. We can offer DAYS or NIGHTS only or a mix of days/nights & weekends.

Location: Surrey (Guildford, Woking, Weybridge, Fleet & Farnborough) and Berkshire (Reading, Maidenhead, Slough)

We have several permanent vacancies available for Security Officer candidates commencing on a 40-hour guaranteed contract. Applicants must hold an SIA license and have their own transport. You will work at several corporate/commercial sites in your region.

Essential criteria:

• Current SIA license holder
• Have your own transport
• Able to work at several corporate/commercial sites in your region
• Have strong customer service and interpersonal skills
• Flexible working with no set shift pattern on a guaranteed hours contract
• Prior experience as a Security Officer is not essential.

Duties to include:

• Meeting and greeting visitors to the site in a polite and customer focused manner
• Manage access control to the site
• Searching and screening of visitors
• Issuing passes to visitors and staff members
• Operation of security systems
• Produce accurate and comprehensive incident reports
• Ensure all Health & Safety policies are adhered to
• Work in conjunction with site Assignment Instructions
• Respond to emergency situations
• Work as part of a client focused team
• General Security Officer duties
