Security Technology Manager
Salary: £50,000 – £55,000 + bonus, extensive benefits package
Location: London
Hours: Monday to Friday
Are you a security professional with a passion for security technology and systems? Can you lead projects and bring together technical teams and partners?
This is an exceptional opportunity to join the senior leadership team in an award-winning security function. You will help to shape the long-term security strategy by assessing, selecting and implementing new technology and security products. You will lead projects to assess and introduce new security products (body worn video cameras, Hostile Vehicle Mitigation, Explosive Trace Detection) or security systems (CCTV, Access Control, alarm systems etc).
If you have experience of leading security systems/tech projects alongside a flair for bringing people together to work collaboratively then this could be for you.
Applicants should meet the following criteria:
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills with a proven track record of collaborative working with multiple partners, service providers or agencies
- Experience managing or co-ordinating security projects (systems, products, technology, software etc).
- Strong strategic and tactical planning skills
- Strong administration skills with the ability to plan and lead projects
- A passion for service excellence
- Experience of positively influencing and engaging senior stakeholders and partners
Responsibilities will include:
- Work closely with the senior security team to understand the long-term security strategy for the business
- Take the lead on projects relating to the introduction of new security systems and technologies
- Work closely and collaborate with technology service providers
- Bring together internal technology and IT teams in project work groups
- Lead the tendering of new technology solutions and services; briefing service providers, assessing proposals etc.
- Assess and evaluate current security systems and products
- Oversee the install of new systems
- Understand the security landscape and assess changing security threats.
- Conduct security systems training and demonstrations
- Management of 3rd party service providers including regular performance review and KPI meetings
- Provide security advice to internal stakeholders
- Conduct risk assessments to assess and mitigate security threats
- Liaison with Police and emergency services
- Cross functional working with the Property and Facilities teams.
